- 6PM to 7:30PMUnderstanding HPV: A presentation for Nantucket providersThis event is hosted by Team Maureen with generous support from the NNLM. While providing quality resources through the NNLM system, providers from across Nantucket will be able to improve their knowledge of HPV, HPV-related cancer, HPV vaccination, and prevention. Attendees will also hear a first hand story from an HPV related cancer survivor on the impact a preventable cancer has on individuals and families.

Attendees will also hear a first hand story from an HPV related cancer survivor on the impact a preventable cancer has on individuals and families.

- Registration is open! 8th Annual HPV-Related Cancer Summit
  Friday, December 4th from 1-4pm & Friday, December 11th from 1-4pm
  Registration is now open for our annual HPV education event, taking place on Friday December 4th and Friday December 11th, 1-4pm EST on both days. Join us to learn about the latest research and best practices for preventing HPV-related cancers. This two-day virtual event features survivors and national experts speaking on HPV vaccination and cancer disparities, the impact of COVID-19 on HPV vaccination rates, newly released cervical cancer guidelines and much more. A full agenda with confirmed presenters and topics is below.
  Registration is open to all healthcare providers, public health advocates, and community members interested in HPV-prevention. Friday, December 11th features separate tracks dedicated to oral HPV and cervical HPV prevention.
  Scholarships and continuing education credits are available. For more information visit mahpvcoalition.org or email Kelly@TeamMaureen.org.
  SUMMIT GOALS:
  - To increase understanding of the HPV disease burden
  - To bring together providers who vaccinate with providers who detect, diagnose or treat HPV-related cancers
  - To present and discuss the most current research on different HPV-related cancers and treatments, as well as innovative projects and strategies to reduce HPV-related cancer
  - To highlight current early detection and screening guidelines as well as recommendations for HPV-related cancers
  AGENDA:
  Continuing education credits are included in the registration fee. (see below) The Summit includes a mix of large group and track-based presentations.
  INFORMATION ON CREDIT:
  Southern NH AHEC is an Approved Provider of continuing nursing education by the Northeast Multistate Division (NE-MSD), an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
  6.0 contact hours. Activity Number: 1350
  The Southern NH Area Health Education Center is accredited by the NH Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Southern New Hampshire Area Health Education Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA category 1 Credit (s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
  For other professionals: 6.0 professional hours of continuing education.
